Zusammenfassung
Pflanzliche Arzneimittel in der Europäischen Union. Perspektiven der europäischen
Industrie
Weniger Verwaltungsaufwand und lohnendere Anreize werden für die Phyto-For-schung
gebraucht, um in Europa mehr Innovationen im Bereich pflanzlicher Arznei–mittel zu
erzielen. Übereinkünfte auf europäischer Ebene, z.B. in Form gemein–schaftlicher Pflanzenmonografien
der Europäischen Zulassungsbehörde, sind auf nationaler Ebene zu berücksichtigen.
Die Association of the European Self-Medica-tion Industry (AESGP) wird in dieser Hinsicht
weiterhin Beiträge zur politischen Diskussion verfassen. Die AESGP ist überzeugt,
dass ein effizienteres Zulassungs–verfahren erreicht werden kann, dass sowohl den
service für die Hersteller als auch für die Bürger Europas verbessert.
Summary
Less administrative bürden and better incentives for research are needed in orderto
get more innovation with herbal medianes in Europe. Achievements made on the European
level, e.g. in form of Community monographs developed by the Committee on Herbal Medicinal
Products (HMPC) at the European Medianes Agency (EMA) have to be respected on the
national level. The Association of the European Self-Medication Industry (AESGP) will
continue to contribute to all political debates in this respect and is confident that
a more efficient authorization System can be established, which will be of better
service for manufacturers and the European citizens.
